Research Ethics Committee
The Human Research Ethics Committee of the Instituto Mantenedor de Ensino Superior da Bahia (CEP/IMES), established in 2006, is responsible for ensuring that research involving human beings is conducted ethically. Working autonomously, collegially and across disciplines, the Committee fosters ethical reflection, protects participants’ rights and helps strengthen a science committed to dignity, respect and social responsibility.
